Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy is a hands-on remedial therapy. 

There is a reciprocal relationship between the nerve stimulus, the soft tissues and the joints and bones. Bowen moves are small, precise skin and soft tissue movements that can influence and change this relationship by stimulating the receptors affecting the neural pathways, pain response, soft tissue tension and promote the body's own natural healing response.

Sessions are usually performed lying on a couch but can be seated or even standing. The Bowen Moves can be either directly onto the skin or through light clothing.
